Machine-readable operating status for agents deciding whether to call AICO now. This page is intentionally conservative: it is a live public status surface, but not an SLA or incident-history system.

## Current state

overall_status: operational

source: self_reported_static_status backed by production route availability and smoke checks, not third-party uptime monitoring.

If a protected API call fails, branch on HTTP status first: 401 means missing/invalid bearer key, 429 means honor Retry-After/exponential backoff, 5xx means transient server/provider failure.

## Components

public_site: operational

Homepage, docs, pricing, markdown, llms, sitemap, robots, schemamap, and well-known discovery routes.

rest_api: operational

REST routes are deployed; protected product calls require bearer API keys from POST /api/v1/activation or dashboard login.

hosted_mcp: operational

Hosted MCP discovery and tools/list are public; tools/call requires bearer auth and quota.

billing: operational

Stripe Checkout-backed Hobby: $5 minimum usage/month with $5 credits included upgrade path; browser billing account required.

external_providers: degraded_by_design

Travel and used-goods responses may depend on configured providers or authorized snapshots; unsupported live booking, escrow, and seller-verification rails stay false.
