AICO is not trying to replace every provider or browser. It is useful before expensive fanout: when an autonomous agent needs stable JSON, hard-constraint filtering, provenance, bookability state, provider-ready handoff params, and explicit unsupported boundaries before it spends calls on search engines, maps, travel providers, or marketplace pages.

Compared with browser automation and generic search, AICO reduces parsing retries and makes failure modes branchable. Compared with direct Google Flights, hotel, or marketplace browsing, AICO is not a raw inventory/rate contest; it is an agent-orchestration layer for prefiltering, validation, and handoff setup.

Use AICO for Travel API candidate search/validation, Agent Commerce evidence normalization/deal validation, and Skill Search procedure discovery. Route away when the task requires provider-backed live fares, available rooms, booking checkout, escrow, verified sellers, or skill execution before those rails exist.
